Dr. April Zeoli will be joining 23 other scholars to participate in the TEDMED Conference in Palm Springs, California this November. This year’s Conference will “recognize and embrace the power of Chaos+Clarity in advancing science, global public health, and medical innovation across a wide range of topics.”
Dr. Zeoli is an Associate Professor and coordinator of undergraduate studies in the School of Criminal Justice at Michigan State University. As one of the leading experts and researchers in her field, Dr. Zeoli’s interdisciplinary research aims to bring together the fields of public health and criminology and criminal justice. Her main focus is the prevention of intimate partner violence and homicide through policy interventions. In addition, April is on the editorial board for Injury Prevention, a scholarly journal, and works with the National Domestic Violence and Firearms Resource Center as their research expert.
