Shelagh Dorn is an Assistant Professor with the School of Criminal Justice. Prior to joining the School as part of the Master’s Program in Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysis, Shelagh worked for several agencies and organizations including the Brunswick Police Department, the University at Albany Hindelang Criminal Justice Center, the New York State Police at the New York State Intelligence Center, and Clemson University.
Currently, Shelagh is serving her third term as the President of the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA) where she is working to provide analytic resources and training opportunities to IALEIA members and partner organizations. She is also a Research Fellow with the John F. Finn Institute for Public Safety. Shelagh received her Master’s Degree and PhD in Criminal Justice from the University at Albany-SUNY and is an IALEIA Criminal Intelligence Certified Analyst (CICA).
